Olasiti Lodge is in a semi-rural location around 6km to the east of Arusha in northern Tanzania. Even though Olasiti Lodge is situated outside of Arush’a CBD it is within easy reach of all amenities. The entrance gate leads into shadowy montane forest inhabited by inquisitive blue monkeys and colourful turacos and trogons – the only place on the northern safari circuit where the acrobatic black-and-white colobus monkey is easily seen.

In the midst of the forest stands the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, whose steep, rocky cliffs enclose a wide marshy floor dotted with herds of buffalo and warthog.

Accommodation

Olasiti Lodge has sixteen beautifully spacious bedrooms all en-suite and, each with its own veranda. All rooms have large beds with telephones and walkways. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms with built in shower and mosquito nets.

Dining & Cuisine

The restaurant and large main building have views overlooking the pool area. There is an Internet café and a curio shop. Private dining on decks is available as well as picnics by arrangement. The water is safe to drink, while bottled water is placed in the rooms courtesy of Olasiti Lodge.
